In a bizarre collaboration that breaks usual predictions, the game developer has announced an in-game partnership between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the acclaimed anime series Attack on Titan. The unusual Thanksgiving event operates from November 25 through December 22, providing no-cost bonus story content for Shadows players.

Strange Questline Revealed

According to the official statement, "A mysterious meeting draws heroes Naoe and Yasuke into a original adventure, where whispers of prohibited practices and fearsome changes resonate through the obscurity." The narrative presents a "unusually garbed woman named Ada" who tasks the duo with journeying into the Gemstone Grotto—a important location from Attack on Titan—to liberate her companion from a hidden group.

The questline focuses on "peculiar trials and a monstrous enemy" and is accessible to all players who have acquired the Yasuke character.

Iconic Locations and Transformations

The trailer highlights the Subterranean Sanctuary from Attack on Titan reimagined as the Crystal Cave. This important location was earlier where the Reiss royal family handed down the Founding Titan ability through eras. The trailer finishes with a powerful scene showing a character, probably the prisoner, transforming into a Titan that looms over Naoe and Yasuke.

Exclusive Rewards and Bonus Features

Players who accomplish the mission will obtain an unique katana alongside multiple items hidden throughout the area in hidden chests. The update also includes purchasable Attack on Titan item packs, featuring:
