According to a fresh parliamentary report, Britain does not possess a proper military plan to defend itself and its external domains from possible hostile actions.

In a highly critical evaluation, the military oversight panel asserted that the nation is "significantly behind" where it needs to be to effectively secure itself and its coalition members, notably during a period when military risks to the continent are "substantial".

The inquiry found that Britain is falling short of its alliance commitments and dropping "far short" of its claimed prominent status.

However, after an 11-month inquiry, the military oversight panel alerted that the UK and its continental partners were still overly dependent on the America and failed to invest enough funds on their own defences.

"Moscow's aggressive incursion of Ukraine, unrelenting propaganda efforts, and frequent violations into continental skies mean that we must not allow ourselves to bury our heads in the sand," declared the board leader.

The committee chairman noted that the panel had "consistently received worries about the nation's ability to protect itself from attack".

The detailed recommendations contained a appeal for the leadership to expedite the rate of industrial change and make "readiness" a primary objective.
