White House Condemns 'Democratic Fabrication' as Further Jeffrey Epstein Photographs Disclosed
House Democrats have released a additional set of what they termed "disturbing" photographs from the estate of adjudicated sex offender Jeffrey Epstein, featuring among others Donald Trump, Bill Clinton, and former British royal Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor.
The initial drop of 19 images—a portion of which have been seen before—combined with another 70 released later on Friday represent a tiny fraction of the almost 100,000 images handed over to the House investigative panel, which is looking into the behavior and associations of Epstein.
The shamed investor died by apparent suicide in a New York jail cell in 2019 after being accused of sex-trafficking charges.
High-Profile Individuals in the Images
Among the high-profile individuals shown in the initial batch are well-known figures featuring film director Woody Allen; Microsoft co-founder Bill Gates; and Richard Branson, founder of the Virgin conglomerate.
Donald Trump appears in three of the first nineteen images. In one, he is seen with six women, whose faces are blacked out.
Administration Reaction
The White House addressed the release in a official comment, accusing Democrats of purposefully "hand-picking" the photographs for political purposes and to "attempt to fabricate a false narrative."
"This Democratic fabrication against President Trump has been repeatedly debunked," a presidential representative stated, asserting that "this presidency has accomplished more for Epstein's survivors than Democrats have ever done by repeatedly calling for disclosure, making public numerous documents of papers, and demanding more inquiries into Epstein's Democrat friends."
Democratic Lawmaker Remarks
The images were published without context, but as stated by a California Democrat and senior member of the investigative panel, they raise more questions about Epstein's associations with the rich and powerful.
"The moment has come to stop this White House obfuscation and secure justice to the survivors of Jeffrey Epstein and his powerful friends," he said in a statement.
The release of these documents occurs alongside the House panel continuing its inquiry into the affair.
